Like many carnivores dinosaurs T-rex often broke or shed its teeth while feeding. Over time a new tooth would grow from the old tooth socket. Thus T-rex had a variety of sizes of teeth, from only 1 inch above the gum line to 11 inches including the root. T-rex was up to 18.5 feet tall, 50 feet long, & weighed up to 6 tons. They were the dominant predator of the Cretaceous Age which ended about 65 million years ago. Note the fine serrations.
The tooth comes on a fine soft nylon cord.
